November brought many exciting things to the world of CubiCasa including a trip to the very first Photography for Real Estate (PFRE) conference, held in Las Vegas. It was attended by more than 300 photographers from 10 different countries. Some would describe it as the largest gathering of real estate photographers ever. “It was a total blast” according to Brandon Cooper, the organizer of the conference.

Of course, there was the obvious thrill of being in Vegas, but more importantly, it was a great way for CubiCasa to meet many valuable customers and photographers face to face.

The conference spanned two days and was chock full of great speakers, including industry-leading photographers, marketing experts, and legal advisers. Venders were able to mingle with attendees during breaks, meals and at the social event.

As Sponsors of the Networking social event, Cubicasa was able to present five $100 Amazon gift cards to lucky winners. There were many other prizes too, including photography equipment and an iWatch. There was a live band, a magician, food and of course, lots to drink.

 

 

The most memorable moment for CubiCasa was the debut of our promo ad on the big screen. The ad included upbeat, motivating music and visuals that showcased our product. If you were a photographer who didn’t know about us, you did after watching the promo! Afterward, we had many attendees approach us to learn more about our revolutionary scanning app or praising us on how well it works. Sean Henderson from 3DRE Services said, “The ad was one of my favorite parts.” Check it out!

 

Attending the PFRE conference enabled conversations with photography influencers such as Rich Baum from Shooting Spaces, Vince Collura from VHT and Sean Henderson, representing RCE (Reality Capture Experts). Meetings with Planomatic, Arryeo, VHT, and other companies helped strengthen our business relationships.

I really enjoyed the PFRE Conference and especially the opportunity to put some faces with names from the Cubicasa team. The Cubicasa sponsored Networking social event was the highlight of my time at the event.
