CubiCasa, a forerunner in real estate technology, has released a revolutionary property scanning app that allows real estate professionals. Above all, the CubiCasa floor plan App can scan any interior space by just recording a video of that space on an iPhone.
“The biggest pain point in the adoption of floorplans in real estate marketing, indoor navigation and IoT applications has been the high cost of floor plan acquisition,” says CubiCasa’s CEO Harri Pesola. The company aims to simplify the process of floorplan and interior data capture: “You just scan the space on your iPhone and submit it for processing. All within a few minutes! The floorplan will be generated and available for download within the next business day. It offers various formats such as PNG, SVG along with a detailed home report” concludes Mr. Pesola.
CubiCasa’s vision of introducing a floorplan to every single real estate listing took a big step forward upon the launch of this new service. It is making floorplan generation easily accessible to any iPhone user (currently iPhone X and above). Currently, floorplans are included in less than 5% of real estate listings in the U.S., which is substantially lower than in most countries. We expect to see huge growth in floorplans for this market. Moreover, with NAR’s research concluding that a floorplan is the 2nd most important factor for potential buyers online. The industry agrees on a common goal to provide better listings. In other words, buyers want to see the property layouts, listing agents want to provide ever more professional services. Certainly, real estate media seeks increasingly better content.
Over the past 2 years, CubiCasa has worked with many of the top brands in U.S. residential real estate, commercial real estate, global vacation rentals and media companies. The company was able to validate the market and to perfect the app before its launch.
In short, CubiCasa is confident that with the launch of its new app. It makes the capture of property data easy and accessible using the latest mobile phones. In a few years, CubiCasa floor plan App will play a major role in increasing the adoption of floorplans in real estate in the United States.
