CUBICASA HELPS TO ENABLE INDOORATLAS DEVELOPERS BY SUPPLYING FLOOR PLANS
Collaboration Allows Developers to Acquire Floor Plans to Easily Create Indoor Positioning Applications
San Francisco, CA, September 21, 2015 – IndoorAtlas, the global leader in indoor positioning, and CubiCasa, a rising star in the 2D and 3D floor plan industry, today announced a collaboration to enable software developers to create indoor positioning applications through IndoorAtlas’s patented technology and CubiCasa’s innovative floor plan delivery.
IndoorAtlas’s unique technology utilizes a compass in smartphones to detect anomalies in the earth’s magnetic field, pinpointing locations with an accuracy of 3-6 feet without any additional infrastructure limitations such as beacons or routers. Comparatively, CubiCasa’s unique technology can turn any type of a source file, even a hand-drawn image, into a usable floor plan file. Each property is geo-located on a map.

Through a partnership with CubiCasa, IndoorAtlas developers now have the option to utilize existing CubiCasa floor plans or create their own custom versions with the simple push of a button.
